Who is Charles
When I began my studies in this sector all those years ago, I discovered the wonderful designs in fabrics, wallpapers and furniture, that in Ireland were nearly buried by the masses of factory produced items on sale. This created in me a desire to showcase these amazing designs.
I felt that there was no-where for people to view what was on the market from these leading international design houses. The magazines were, and still are a great source for fuelling and developing ideas, but where can these items be found?
CHARLES NEWHAVEN was opened...
Originally our showrooms were based on the Main Street in Castledermot and in Autumn 2009 we moved into the outhouses of a lovely old granite farmyard, which is still a work in progress! It is only about 1 mile from Castledermot out the Kilkea road situated on the right hand side.
Our showroom has en extensive library and sample room that is open to the public to browse at their convenience and an in-house designer will offer help and advise with any queries you may have.
